The Apple Place made its first apple cider donut in the 1980s and we haven’t changed them since.
Our Famous Apple Cider Donut
We still use locally produced cider in the batter and a delicious coating of cinnamon and sugar on the outside. Before you even enter our store you can smell the amazing aroma of the donuts, and with just one bite you’ll understand why it’s a staple across Norfolk County.
It’s no wonder that on December 8, 2015 Norfolk County council declared that the Apple Cider Donut is the official donut of Norfolk County.
